11/8/2010 & rated 93 points: Scents of leather, earth, cigar wrapper, and red fruits. The palate strikes with power and finesse without being anything more than a tremendously balanced wine. This wine just flirts with everything that a 40 year old Bordeaux could hope to be. I really wish I had bought more than one!

8/2/2010 & rated 90 points: No signs of excessive age; excellent fruit and all elements in right proportion.
