Chateau Latour - 1961

Score 97/100

This beautiful bottle speaks for itself. (but I'll try and 'big it up' anyway)

This well known vintage has been given the maximum marks of 100/100 by Robert Parker who states - “unquestionably one of the Bordeaux legends of the century,”

The bottle is in excellent condition and has been well looked after and kept in a temperature controlled cellar since purchase. The label is in good condition with minimal signs of wear - slight staining as you would expect in a 50+ year old bottle. The foil and cap are intact with no signs of seepage etc. A good fill level for it's age (as seen in pictures)

A phenomenal first growth with the current market value for this bottle at £4,250 + (With Christies recently selling a 6 litre bottle of the Latour 61' vintage for £135k)
