Description

The last bottle I have from the outstanding 1928 vintage which was the longest lived wine of that decade. This stunning red wine is believed to be the private stock from Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou, as the provenance of this wine is from the head gardener who works there. The 1928 Bordeaux vintage was successful in every appellation. The Left Bank produced incredibly, opulent, rich wines. Ideal for a 93rd anniversary.
Label fairly illegible. Vintage not shown but from the same lot of 6 bottles of 1928, my last one.
Look at the level, incredible for the year, obviously stored in optimum circumstances.
