Palmer is highly sought after around the world – and sits just below Château Margaux in Margaux's current appellation hierarchy.

Palmer is a quintessentially beautiful château sited on the outskirts of the village of Margaux. It is named after the Englishman, Major-General Charles Palmer, who settled in Bordeaux in the early 19th century after the Napoleonic wars, and it is now under the control of Franck Mähler-Besse, the son of a Dutch immigrant.
