Description

Tasted over the last two days, this wine is quite remarkable. I feared that it might be over blown from the hot vintage with a tendency towards oxidation. However it was nothing of the sort. Prunes, damsons, ripe tannins and really delicious. I left the bottle overnight and tasted the following day, without using coravin, because I wanted to see how it coped. I was astonished to find the wine even better after 18 hours open. The fruit had become more aromatic and pure, there was less heft to the wine and more silkiness, but no oxidation. This is a really superb wine IMO, I have drunk one, will keep 5 and sell the other six. Enjoy!
