Description

Awarded 91 points (average) on Cellar Tracker - This wine is at it’s apogee. an earthy, menthol Pomerol, aromas that are both complex and fresh. Not a fruit bomb (like the 09’s) but classic Pomerol (2008 Right Banks continue to impress me at this age and development). Indeed; 2008 was more of a right bank vintage. Medium bodied and silky/elegant fruits and forest floor. I recommend a 1 hour decant. Some sediment to clear off. Drink now; but it’s not fading. Glad I followed Steven Spurrier’s recommendation on this and bought it 10 years ago

This wine is no longer available in the UK (last records of it being sold was for £38 by Nemo wines). The wine was bought by me en premiur and has been stored in an underground cellar since purchase. The bottle is in excellent condition.
