Description

I am auctioning 2 separate lots, each of 1 bottle of Chateau Troplong Mondot 2004. The wine arrived from bonded store at the end of January 2015 and has been stored in a Eurocave since then, and so is in immaculate condition.

For a review from ST:

Very good saturated medium ruby. Primary aromas of blackberry, menthol, minerals, licorice and bitter chocolate, with a whiff of reduction. Dense, lush and sweet, with a fine-grained texture and strong material. Finishes quite long, with lush tannins. Perhaps a bit monolithic today in the middle palate, but then the malolactic fermentation only finished at the end of February. Offers strong potential. 89-92 pts

The wine can be collected from central London at a date to be agreed or from North Wiltshire. It can also be shipped to you. Shipping charges will be reduced if you purchase both bottles.
