Description

Chateauneuf-du-pape Domaine de Nalys 2008 - This Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a straight, concentrated and complex red wine. The tannins are very well integrated, which softens this full-bodied red and gives it a good balance. Shows aromas of red berries and light spices on the palate, ending up with a really long finish that calls for the next sip. A simply delicious wine, just perfectly evolved to start drinking it now.

Chateau Bernadotte 2005 Haut Medoc - Primarily a blend of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with a small amount of Petit Verdot, this offering (from the owners of Pichon Lalande) exhibits a classic style with notes of licorice, roasted herbs, cedar, and black currants. Medium-bodied with fine ripeness as well as moderate tannin.

Deidesheimer Riesling, Bürklin-Wolf 2014 - This comes from the young vines of Deidesheimer Herrgottsacker and Kieselberg. Excellent fruit and character and quite dry. All Bürklin wines are cultivated biodynamically and this seems to add to their personality.

Château l'Eglise Saget 2009 Bordeaux - The good balance of this wine comes from the excellent blend of merlot which gives the wine its fruit and velvety aspect, while the cabernet provides structure and tender tannins.
