Description


The Wine:
1986 is famous for its "built-to-last" Cabernet-dominated wines. Produced by the Chanfreau family (who also own the prestigious Château Fonréaud), this Listrac-Médoc is a wonderful example of a mature, traditional Bordeaux. Expect notes of forest floor, cigar box, and dark fruit.

Provenance & Condition:
Originally from a private collection in St George’s Hill, Weybridge. These bottles have been stored in appropriate, cool, and stable conditions since purchase.

• Fill Levels: Excellent for 1986 (Base Neck / Top Shoulder).

• Condition: Labels are remarkably clean for their age. Capsules are original, firm, and show no signs of leakage.

• Authenticity: Both bottles are "Mis en Bouteille au Château" (Estate Bottled).
