Description

Some conflicting opinions found on 'Cellartracker'. Just to show that good wine can divide as well as unite !

Tasted by Apollo5710 on 12/25/2011 & rated 93 points: This one is ready to drink. Great Sauternes nose of apricot, peach, and honey. Surprisingly full-bodied, round, and lush in the mouth, featuring an abundance of apricot fruit up-front. And, of course, super sweet. While it will continue to evolve for many years, what little acidity/structure that remains leads me to guess that it may not get much better from this point onward. I'd drink them up if you have em!

Tasted by mxpbuy on 12/15/2011 & rated 91 points: Sampled 12/14/11. A very nice wine with plenty of honeyed apricot at the core. Some melon flavors with plenty of residual sugar appearing on the finish. Some smokey elements. For some reason, however, this bottle just seemed like it was not fully together. I think it might need more time to become fully integrated and some of more subtle notes to emerge. No rush on this one, its got another 10+ in it.
