Description

Easily the largest property in the Haut-Médoc at 172 hectares at St Laurent de Médoc neighbours of Belgrave, La Tour Carnet etc and touching Saint Julien.

Reborn from absolute ruin in 1966 (no vines, buildings falling down) by the Fourniers - Château de Camensac - who spent a veritable fortune renovating, planting etc. It was sold in 1986 to the French assurance group A.G.F.

Planted with 60% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, Larose Trintaudon produces excellent wines which are able to withstand the ravages of time. From the good 1998 vintage, thisbottle will be approaching its prime.

All in first class order.
