Description

Easily the largest property in the Haut-Médoc at 172 hectares at St Laurent de Médoc neighbours of Belgrave, La Tour Carnet etc and touching Saint Julien.

Reborn from utter ruin in 1966 (no vines, buildings falling down) by the Fourniers at Ch Camensac who spent a veritable fortune. It was sold in 1986 to the French assurance group A.G.F.

Planted with 60% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, Larose Trintaudon produces excellent wines which are able to withstand the ravages of time.

From the excellent 2005 vintage, this bottle will age gracefully for another decade.
