Description

An unopened case of Churchills 1985 port, kept in situ for 15+ years, and then previously kept in situ for a similar period - always at consistent temperatures. It remains in the beautiful original box, and this is the comment from Churchills on the 1985 year:

"The general quality of the 1985 Ports seems to be well above average. The good performance of the Touriga Nacional grape favoured the wines from Quinta do Fojo which are particularly aromatic and intense. All the wines have plenty of fruit and fresh natural acidity but are also quite hard on the palate which indicates a good tannic structure."
