Description

Domaine Bernard Dugat -Py Bourgogne Halinard wine is of light ruby color, with legs.
Nose: Clean, the nose shows medium (+) intensity aromas of red fruit of sour cherry and plum, maturity notes of mushroom and wet leaves, animal notes of meaty, mineral notes of earth. The wine is developing.
Palate: Dry with medium (+) acidity, medium tannin of ripe and supple texture, the wine has medium alcohol and is of medium body with medium intensity flavors of red fruit such as red cherry and cranberry, hints of oak notes such as smoke, vegetable notes of black olives. The wine has a medium finish.
Conclusion: Good quality Bourgogne with a fairly intense nose showing reasonable complexity, the wine has good refreshing acidity and in balance, with strong tannin for a Pinot Noir, providing the structure to the wine. The flavors are reasonably concentrated and complex, with a reasonable finish. It is ready to drink now though can benefit from further ageing
