One 75cl bottle of Domaine Bizot's 2011 Vosne Romanee. Purchased en primeur and cellared in my Eurocave since purchase. Perfect condition. The cheapest this wine is available for in the UK is £67/bottle, ex shipping, and that is if you buy it in a six pack.

(Domaine Bizot Vosne-Romanée Villages Red) This is also quite floral though here there is notably more spice influence to the pretty array of red berries and earth aromas. There is good vibrancy and detail to the medium-bodied flavors that possess relatively pliable tannins on the supple and delicious finish. A very good villages. (Drink starting 2015)

The Vosne Romanee 2011 from Bizot is showing well … driven by a tight but organic red fruit. The nose is quite floral with lovely notes of red and darker berries … spiced by a nice earthy minerality. One the palate fine weight and intensity … really like the organic fruit. Not the most focused village wines from Vosne … but a quite delightful glass of pinot. A quite lovely wine for medium term drinking.
