From the storied Gigondas estate, Domaine des Bosquets (first planted in 1376, now led by Julien Bréchet), this 2019 Réserve is a sophisticated and expressive GSM blend—approximately 60 % Grenache, 30 % Syrah, and the remainder Mourvèdre and Cinsault—gracefully vinified plot by plot and aged across foudres, demi-muids, and barrels before spending six months in concrete post-blending .

On the nose, you’ll find blackberries, garrigue, violets, pepper spice, and cocoa. The palate is full-bodied and richly structured with velvety tannins, juicy acidity, and a long, layered finish . Critics were impressed: 93–95 WA, 93 JD, 93 WS—praised for its concentration, richness, and elegant tannic backbone .

Cellaring potential runs long: approachable from now, yet promising evolution through at least 2031 or beyond
