Domaine Jean-François Ganevat's Cuvée Julien is made from Pinot Noir grapes.nThese old Pinot vines were planted in the 1950snnIt is vinified according to the simplest rules: native yeasts, without fining or filtration.nnDomaine Jean-François Ganevat is located in La Combe de Rotalier in Jura , France. The estate has been family owned since 1650 and is currently managed by Jean-François Ganevat , who trained and worked until 1998 at Domaine Jean-Marc Morey in Chassagne-Montrachet, before returning to his family estate. Ganevat's production is small, but made up of around forty different vintages aimed at highlighting the terroir, the grape variety or the style of winemaking. The 13-hectare estate has been certified biodynamic since 2014. Jean-François Ganevat uses ancient and individualized winemaking techniques: destemming is done by hand, no new oak is used, the white wines are aged on lees for a minimum of two years and, since 2006, it has completely eradicated the use of sulfur.nnn
