Louis Latour is one of Burgundy’s most historic and respected producers, with long-established holdings on the hill of Corton. Corton-Charlemagne is a flagship wine for the house, sourced from high-altitude limestone and marl soils that consistently deliver power, structure and longevity.

The 2017 vintage in Burgundy produced white wines defined by balance, freshness and precision rather than excess weight. In Corton-Charlemagne this translates into a wine that combines concentration with tension. Expect citrus and white stone fruit, apple, subtle hazelnut and oak spice, underpinned by a strong mineral core and vibrant acidity. Still youthful, it will benefit from further bottle age but can be enjoyed now with decanting.
