“Daniel Landi and Fernando García have been friends since college. Successful winemakers in their own right – in 2008 they started a winemaking project together: Comando G”


The grapes are collected by hand From the 70-year-old bush vines of a 1-hectare orchard near the town of El Real de San Vicente, in the Mentrida area. The sanctuary is located at an altitude of 900 meters and its soil consists of red slate, clay, sand and quartz. The wine ferments spontaneously in whole bunches in open oak barrels. The wine matures for 16 months in 500-liter French oak barrels.

Daniel Landi is one of Spain's most followed winemakers, and for a reason. Originally from Méntrida, Dani was born into a family of wine growers who were used to selling their grapes to the local cooperative. Even at a young age, Dani knew that winemaking was her calling, but of course she could not have predicted that one day she would be one of the most prominent young winemakers who would bring the message of the unique style of Spanish Garnacha to the world.
