Description

Perrin et Fils La Gille Gigondas, 12-case, 2020 vintage.

Bought en primeur and stored in-bond with TWS since release. Drinking window 2022-2029.

60% Grenache, 40% Syrah. Mid slopes, sandy soil, terraces facing north-west. Long maceration. One year in oak. Cask sample. Velvet-looking crimson. Pure, intense, mulberry-rich fruit. Smells both ripe and fresh and attractively earthy. Fine tension on the palate, the tannins very fine, finely layered so that are rounded but nicely dry on the finish. Long, becoming more chewy as you taste. (Julia Harding - WM)

Bottles in original packaging, note this is being sold in-bond. Can be delivered in-bond to another warehouse (£30) or delivered duty paid for free, with duty added to final price.
