About the wine:
Les Dionnières is Ferraton Père & Fils' flagship Hermitage, produced from Syrah grown on the granite slopes of the Les Dionnières lieu-dit on the western side of the Hermitage hill.
Since Michel Chapoutier assumed responsibility for the estate's winemaking, Ferraton's single-vineyard wines have become recognised amongst the leading wines of the Northern Rhône.
The exceptional 2010 vintage is considered one of the finest of the century in the Rhône, producing wines of remarkable concentration, balance and longevity that continue to evolve beautifully.
