Description

The Gere Attila Pinceszete Kopar Cuvee 5 stars Hungerian wine.
Wine was produced from 50% Cabernet Franc, 40% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and mellowed in new oak barrels.
Deep ruby color with dark seeds. Full-bodied, powerful and long. The aromas and intense flavors of black fruit and chocolate.
Decanting for a few hours recommended to bring out the delightful flavours.

Kopár Cuvée is considered the finest wine produced by Attila Gere. The fruit comes from vineyards on the extinct vulcano named Kopár, which means “barren”. This is a reference to the sparse loess on limestone soil the vineyards are planted on. A small amount comes from other prime Gere vineyards also within the DHC - Villány. The wine deserves to be ranked among the best from Bordeaux, Tuscany and Napa.

Excellent and ageing nicely.
Consume now until 2020+.
