Burghound tasting note:

A subtle touch of wood spice frames elegant, pure and moderately ripe red pinot fruit aromas that possess nuances of plum, cassis and clove that lead to very round, supple and pretty middle weight flavors underpinned by buried structure and a stunningly complex and beautifully long finish. This is not a big or powerful wine but it brings a strikingly pretty combination of finesse, complexity and inner mouth feel. Stylish and classy.

Tasted: Jan 01, 2005 Score: 90-92 Drink: 2010+

Clive Coates tasting note:

Medium-full colour. a little oak. Soft and succulent on the nose. Nice and cool. This is very lovely. Fresh, full bodied, intense and harmonious. It has all the ripeness of the vintage but none of the distractions. Excellent grip. Very long. Very classy. Very good indeed.
