Description

A delicious red wine from the north Italian region of Piedmont (Piemonte), this full, smooth red is made from 100% Nebbiolo grape varietal, which can be further broken down into two strains of the Nebbiolo Grape: "Michet" and "Lampia". It weighs in at 14% ABV alcohol, and is great to drink now, but should continue to age beautifully, well into the mid-2030's.

"Wonderful Cannubi with depth, texture and style. Full and harmonized. Superb length and beauty. A joyous wine that shows the class of the vintage and the great vineyard. Drink or hold." - 96 pts.

Wine Spectator:
"A smooth red, boasting cherry, raspberry, floral and menthol flavors, with tobacco and mineral accents. Long and satisfying, revealing a sweetness that lingers on the aftertaste. Best from 2019 through 2033." - 92 pts.

"This structured wine opens with a quintessential Nebbiolo nose of wild berry, baking spice, grilled herb, fragrant blue flower and a balsamic note. The tannins need a few years to soften, yet there is already plenty to admire here. Rose petal and sweet spice overtones reappear on the expressive, inviting finish." 90 pts.
