Description

A rare bottle of this (mainly exported) Scotch. Entering into the realms of a collection piece, it must date from the 1960's as the contents are described as "70° Proof", something discontinued in the late 1960s when the Common Market was lumbering over the hill.

The distillers and owners of the marque are/were Macdonald Greenlees Ltd of Leith.

Old Parr is stated as being born in 1483 and died in 1635 being buried in Westminster Abbey: an unlikely tale as he would have been 152...however this brand was a cult brand on the Japanese market - and perhaps still is.

The bottle is in excellent order - see photos, and has a clip top capsule, another indicator of its age.
