A wonderful piece of wine history, this 1976 Harveys No. 1 Claret dates from one of Bordeaux's most famous hot, dry vintages. Bottled by the historic Bristol wine merchants John Harvey & Sons, this is an increasingly scarce example of a classic merchant-bottled Bordeaux from nearly 50 years ago.nPresented in its original 70cl bottle (standard for many UK merchant bottlings of the era), this bottle retains a good fill level for its age. The capsule remains intact, while the front label shows expected age-related wear and staining, adding to its vintage character.
