Description

Possibly the most revered name in wine in Australia, Henschke was fore runner in the wine industry. Johann Christian Henschke settled in the mid-1800’s into the veritable paradise of Eden Valley.

Today the single vineyard of Hill of Grace has vines nudging 150 years old, and Cyril made the first vintage of this renowned wine in 1958. This is rich Shiraz at it’s best and the limited availability and exceptional quality drives the pricing. Expect to buy in retail at around £850 a bottle for this vintage!

This bottle was purchased from auction as part of other lots won from the estate of a deceased collector. It comes in it’s own branded wooden presentation box and is very high fill and very good presentation. Currently lying in a wine merchants premises.
