Description

The second wine of Chateau La Mission Haut-Brion.

46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc. Aged 15–18 months in 75% new oak.
Leathery nose, pure blackcurrant fruit and some prune aromas too – not in a bad way, there is no lack of freshness. Modern in structure on the palate, with expressive black fruit and feathery tannins, plus that leathery character all the way through, and lingering on the finish. Classic and fragrant.
