Description

This is a lot of wine for the price. Drinking at its best!

Deep cherry-red with garnet hues. Clean and bright. Intense, complex nose. Aromas of red berries are complemented with notes of fine wood, tobacco, light toasting and liquorice. Hold's depth in the mouth with a very pleasant, lingering finish. Good structure with firm tannins.

Supported by a chalky-clay soil that sets just the right limits on the action of rain and humidity in our 30 hectares of vineyards, the Tempranillo variety grows in all its majesty to provide our young wines with their intense colour and flavour and our aged wines with its very special bouquet. The other red grape varieties - Garnacha and Mazuelo - are used to complement our red wines, while our white wines provide a wide gamut of sensations thanks to the Viura grapes. Rioja Alavesa descents toward the Ebro on terraced, south-facing slopes. At altitudes ranging from 400 to 700 metres above sea level, a sea of vineyards with the ochre background that demands our personal attention year round is the essence of this land in Spain
