Description

A 3 bottle pack of Savigny Premier Cru from this family run winery (run by 2 sisters) in Savigny-Les-Beaune:

1 x 2010 Savigny 1er Haut-Jarrons
1 x 2009 Savigny 1er Aux Clous
1 x 2009 Savigny 1er Les Lavieres

This wine, which is difficult to source in the UK, has just reached maturity.

Bill Nanson features the domaine in his book "The Finest Wines of Burgundy", and has this to say of the wines:

"They may not be darkly coloured, but they are charming and elegant and still offer more than enough depth to prevent them from becoming facile". He goes on to say "I recommend in particular the premier curs Les Talmettes and Aux Clous…."
