Description

An assortment case of red Burgundies made by the master Australian winemaker, Mark Haisma. All will drink and give pleasure now, and the Gevrey will keep too.

This case is made up of SIX BOTTLES as follows:-
- TWO BOTTLES Gevrey Chambertin 2019
- TWO BOTTLES Bourgogne Rouge 2020
- TWO BOTTLES Bourgogne Rouge 2021

Gevrey 2019: "The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin Village comes from "lots of little bits," to use Haisma's parlance. It contains 50% whole bunch, but you actually cannot feel the stems at all, just black cherries and blueberry fruit. The palate is well balanced with slightly chalky tannins, fine energy and a brisk, focused finish with a touch of tea leaf. (Drink between 2022-2032)" 90-92 points, Neal Martin, December 2020

Bourgogne 2020: "Domaine. Bright full purple. Ripe pinot with considerable density. Lovely peppery finish behind the sweet raspberry juice, good acidity. All destemmed and then gently infused. Fine long finish, delicious." 88-89 points, Jasper Morris, November 2021.

Bourgogne 2021: "From Mark’s own vines near Gevrey. A pretty red fruit, perfumed cherries, light but fine enough. The strawberries appear in force on the second half of the palate. An easygoing softer finish, so this will be accessible quite early." 86-88 points, Jasper Morris, November 2022.
