Description

Michael Broadbent devoted an entire one-off chapter to Mas de Daumas Gassac in his book `Vintage Wine`. Rated as the Languedoc`s grand cru wine, it shows what a couple of adventurous winemakers, the Guiberts, can achieve with the initial involvement of the legendary Professor Emile Peynaud. With its own peculiar micro climate in the valley of Gassac and the confirmation by Professor Henri Enjalbert at Bordeaux University that the geological structures were capable of producing a grand cru wine, Mas de Daumas has become an iconic wine.
