MASSETO 2004 - SCORING 100 POINTS

This Iconic wine needs no introduction to serious collectors, the bottle is almost perfect with only a couple of tiny nicks to the label as seen clearly in the images, the capsule is tight and the level just in the neck, so I have listed as base neck, a level commensurate for this 19 year old wine.

2004 Tenuta dell'Ornellaia "Masseto" Toscana

As hard as it may seem to believe, the 2004 Masseto is even more expressive. It, too, is incredibly silky, bright and polished, with captivating aromatics, nuanced red cherry fruit and stunning overall balance.
