Description

A Bordeaux blend of great style and complexity from Tokara's winemaker, Miles Mossop.
Max is Saskia's brother - literally. Miles Mossop names his wines after his children. The theory is he devotes the same care and attention to raising his wines as he does his kids. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (54%), Petit Verdot (23%) and Merlot(23%) is rich, spicy and complex. Dark fruit , Christmas cake and fennel on the nose, with the same flavours carrying through to the pallet, with firm dry tannins lingering on the finish. Balance and finesse are words which have been used to describe this wine, which is drinking well now, but which will also reward those who can bear to cellar it for a couple more years.
