Description

One of each following bottle, 2 red and 2 white (normal and upmarket cuvées for both). Would make a great Christmas present!

- Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red 2009

This Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a straight, concentrated and complex red wine. The tannins are very well integrated, which softens this full-bodied red and gives it a good balance. Shows aromas of red berries and light spices on the palate, ending up with a really long finish that calls for the next sip. A simply delicious wine, just perfectly evolved to start drinking it now. An amazing value for money if you like reds from the Southern Rhone Valley.

66% Grenache, 21% Syrah, 13% others

- Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red, Cuvée "Le Châtaignier" 2010

This special «cuvée» also comes from a specific parcel, but exclusively made of old Grenache and Mourvèdre vines (65 years old). They provide an exceptional concentration and make the wine powerful, tannic and spicy. A superb wine that will improve further after a few years in a cellar - it should impress any proper wine amateur.

92% Grenache , 8% Mourvèdre

- Châteauneuf-du-Pape White 2012

If you wonder what a white Chateauneuf-du-Pape tastes like, this is a great opportunity to find out! Nalys has been one of the main references for white Châteauneuf-du-Pape for years, which represent 15% of the production of the domain (against 6% in average in the rest of the appellation). The 6 different grape varieties used to elaborate this wine give a very elegant and mineral mouthfeel, with distinct fresh citrus and floral notes. Just perfectly balanced, it is one of our favourite whites of the Rhone Valley.

45% Roussanne, 35% Clairette, 20% Grenache blanc

- Châteauneuf-du-Pape White, Cuvée "Eicelenci" 2010

A highly complex white with a lot of different and subtle aromas - white fruits, citrus, flowers... This white wine is mainly made of Roussanne, a delicate grape variety that is difficult to grow but gives astonishing perfumes to wines. A few light wooden notes complete the tasting on a long, very long finish. Simply remarkable.

40% Roussanne, 30% Grenache blanc, 30% Clairette
