More skimming of wines I've bought in case quantities. Apart from the Fourrier I've tried a bottle each of all of these and enjoyed every one. Although some 2005s have closed up, these have all been approachable.

Professional reviews:

Gevrey Chambertin Les Estournelles St. Jacques (Frédéric Esmonin)
By Allen Meadows
This too is airy and quite cool with a pretty mix of red, blue and violet-infused aromas nuanced with notes of stone and underbrush that complement the sweet, refined and pure middle weight flavors that possess really lovely mid-palate fat that completely buffers the firm, persistent and elegant finish. Terrific and recommended. (2012+) (90-92) points

Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vigne (Fourrier)
By Allen Meadows
There is no reduction here however as the very fresh, bright and exuberant nose features briar, red and blue fruit and iron-infused earth aromas that complement to perfection the round, rich and sweet flavors that are unusually well-detailed and finish with punch and power. This too is recommended. (2012+) (88-91) points

Gevrey-Chambertin en Champs (Géantet Pansiot)
By David Schildknecht
From parcels below the Champeaux, Geantet’s 2005 Gevrey-Chambertin En Champs evinces cranberry, raspberry, licorice and vanilla in the nose. Displaying real depth and grip on the palate, it suggests subtle caramelization of fruit and marrowy low tones, with a creamy texture emerging. 90 points

By Allen Meadows
Background notes of wood spice frame the intensely earthy and rather animale nose of mostly red berry fruit aromas that combine with powerful and exceptionally ripe and rich flavors that explode on the mouth coating and hugely long finish. One to buy. (drink starting 2013) (90-92) points

Gevrey Chambertin Cuvée Bertin (Lignier-Michelot)
By Allen Meadows
This is a really pretty wine from stem to stern with an expansive and broad-scaled nose that combines red currants, minerals, tobacco and rose petal with plenty of Gevrey earth that continues onto the fresh, sweet, dense and pure flavors that possess that beguiling quality of inner mouth perfume. A strikingly good villages and recommended. (drink starting 2013) 90 points

Morey Saint Denis en la Rue de Vergy (Lignier-Michelot)
By Allen Meadows
This is slightly more elegant aromatically with upper register, fresh and cool red berry fruit aromas nuanced with obvious minerality and a hint of jasmine tea that can also be found on the equally mineral-infused, detailed and energetic flavors that possess excellent detail given how rich the finish is. This delivers outstanding quality for its level. (drink starting 2012) 90 points

By David Schildknecht
A 2005 Morey-St.-Denis En la Rue de Vergy (from high above the village) offers aromas of pungent smoked meat and juniper berry along with distilled black raspberry. A fleshy, ripely-fruited palate mingles confiture-like suggestions of advanced ripeness with fresh, faintly tart fruit elements. This exhibits plenty of stuffing and fine tannins and finishes with spice, resin and nicely concentrated sweet fruit. I don’t envision a need to wait more than a few years to enjoy it. 88 points

Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru En Caradeux Clos de la Croix de Pierre (Louis Jadot)
By Allen Meadows
Subtle oak toast sets off unusually ripe aromas for this appellation and rather than the usual red pinot fruit, in '05 the nose runs more toward dark and even black fruit. The rich, full and delicious flavors though retain the classic sense of freshness and vibrancy plus a firm minerality on the penetrating finish. This is a lovely and altogether serious effort if distinctly riper than it usually is. Worth a look. (drink starting 2012) (88-91) points

Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Les Peuillets (d'Ardhuy)
By Allen Meadows
As it often is, this is the most elegant of this Savigny group with high-toned and pure red pinot fruit aromas that exude a fine sense of underlying minerality that continues onto the detailed, sweet and beautifully balanced and harmonious middle weight flavors that possess real finishing verve. Terrific Peuillets that could actually be approached now as the structure is seamlessly integrated. (drink starting 2012) 91 points

Volnay Vieilles Vignes (Nicolas Potel)
By Allen Meadows
Moderate reduction makes the nose difficult to evaluate but the moderately rustic and full-bodied flavors are frank, rich and direct, underpinned by rugged if not aggressive tannins on the supple but admirably dense finish. This is complex and the material is impressive enough though like the Valozières, this won't win any prizes for elegance. (drink starting 2012) (87-90) points

Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos du Château Rouge (Château de la Maltroye)
By Allen Meadows
As it almost always is, this is at once the most elegant and the most complex wine of the group with its lovely and densely fruited nose of very pretty red berries, pepper, ripe floral notes plus a hint of oak toast that marries with rich, sweet and relatively refined medium full flavors that are long, balanced and mouth coating. Recommended. (drink starting 2012) (90-92) points

Rully 1er Cru Clos de Chapître (Dureuil-Janthial)
By David Schildknecht
This offers bright red pomegranate and raspberry aromatics, but with jammy and distilled aspects, pungent ginger and citrus rind, flowers, and vivid raw beef bloodiness. There is plenty of richness but also plenty of underlying structure as well as the energetic, brightly penetrating aspects common to all of Dureuil’s 2005s. The fine, long finish adds a mineral dimension to the aforementioned complexities and gives promise of a decade’s worth of entertaining value. 92 points

By Allen Meadows
BurgHound, 10/2006
Here there is an interesting nose as portions of it are very ripe, even exotic yet there are fresh and airy citrus aromas as well that can also be found on the racy, intense, delineated and minerally flavors that finish with admirable bone dry persistence. (88-90) points

Rully 1er Cru Les Cloux (Paul Jacqueson)
By Allen Meadows
Dark red and blue fruits, particularly plum, along with violet and spice nuances lead to more elegant and more complex flavors that are rich, pure and minerally, offering excellent detail and mouth coating tannins on the delicious and sappy finish. Terrific quality here and certainly worth a close look. (drink starting 2011) (89-91) points

Mercurey 1er Cru Les Naugues (François Raquillet)
By David Schildknecht
Always the most massive and one of the two most structured of Racquillet’s reds, his 2005 Mercurey Les Naugues offers scents and flavors of red cherry, cinnamon, rose wood, wood smoke, and beef marrow. Palpably dense on the palate, it finishes with real grip and a wonderfully deep sweetness of pit fruits and marrow, and deserves at least 3-5 years in the cellar. 91 points

By Allen Meadows
A background touch of wood frames concentrated and complex black cherry and raspberry aromas that merge into round, delicious and also rather velvety flavors that possess ample mid-palate fat with an obvious backbone of firm but ripe tannins on the mineral-infused finish. This is less obviously rustic and while not really refined, the structure is more sophisticated. (drink starting 2012) 90 points
