Description

The wine has a fairly dense colour with a slightly orange tint and a refined, pleasant nose with notes of smoke, blackcurrant bud, cherry, tobacco, spice and a suggestion of mint, developing an attractive aromatic complexity. Firm on the palate, it achieves a fine balance between a moderately powerful body and an agreeable structure of supple, very smooth tannins, displaying an attractive range of flavors in which red fruit mingles with a touch of pepper and elegant oak. The well-rounded finish, long, fresh and succulent, perfectly demonstrates the success of this vintage in the best Pauillac vineyards. Very good Mouton, Good dark ruby color, with lovely mineral, spice and currant aromas. Medium-bodied, with silky tannins and a light, fruity finish. Wine Spectator 89 Points. Deep ruby. Exotic, enticing aromas of black fruits, cherry cough syrup, roast coffee and caramel, along with pungent oakiness. Sweet, fat and thick.
