Description

The Clos de l'Arlot Monopole from Domaine de l'Arlot is a highly elegant white wine made from Chardonnay grapes in the prestigious terroir of Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the 1er Cru appellation in Burgundy. The vineyard is located on stony soils, characterized by slopes so steep that all viticulture operations must be done by hand.

The winemaking follows a traditional approach to enhance the aromas and flavors of Chardonnay. Fermentation takes place at low temperatures, followed by aging for 12 months in oak barrels and a further 3 months in steel tanks before bottling. This process gives the wine an aromatic complexity and a refined structure, balancing freshness and opulence.
On the nose, this wine offers a refined range of aromas that range from ripe citrus to apricot and pineapple, accompanied by notes of honey and vanilla. On the palate it is broad and generous, with a roundness and freshness that balance each other perfectly, ending in a mineral finish, with an elegant persistence and a long finish.
It pairs perfectly with fish dishes in sauce, seafood risotto or shellfish.
