- Brick color and aromas of blackberry, dusty and tobacco and has flavours of dusty - Deep and dark as a moonless night. A wonderful palette of dark blackberries and rich dusty chocolate pepper laced with oak and tobacco.

Decanted for slightly over an hour. Ocean deep burgundy, still tight tannins upon first splosh. A slight gritty appeal upon the tongue with a bouquet unique to napa california terroir. Expanding over the next two hours with a pallet of peppery earth and blackberry skin.

A dark inky black core with bright purple rim and glass coating viscosity. The aromas are dominated by plums, blueberries, blackberries, dark cherries, cedar, sweet tobacco, and toasted oaky vanilla. Very opulent flavors, a full bodied wine filled with juicy plums, blackberries, and raspberries on the attack leading to a dark chocolate mid-palate with fresh acidity. The finish continues with the fleshy dark fruits, as well as a lot of creamy vanilla, very polished and integrated tannins, drinking beautifully now.

Wow. This bottle delivered all of the great characteristics of a big red - full, chewy body and a nice finish. It need to breath for a few minutes but then the aroma filled the glass. This is a truly enjoyable wine.
