Domaine de Thalabert is one of the oldest and most highly regarded vineyards in Crozes-Hermitage, with vines first planted in the 19th century.
Owned by Paul Jaboulet Aîné since 1834, the estate's Syrah is grown on gravel and alluvial soils over a clay subsoil, producing wines noted for their depth, structure and longevity.
The outstanding 2005 Rhône vintage delivered wines of exceptional concentration and balance, and Domaine de Thalabert is widely recognised as one of the benchmark wines of the appellation, capable of ageing gracefully for decades.
