Rare wine in excellent condition with perfect age stored in my cellar since purchase from bond a year ago. Excellent vintage for Barbaresco and drinking really well

This is indeed a fine bottle of Barbaresco. Lovely depth of flavours and an array of complex details. in a perfect spot right now (and as usual also the last bottle...). 93p

A touch of brown on the edge , great fruit long aftertaste, high alcohol but not noticeable ,excellent wine

WSET Level 4 Course - WSET School; 9/6/2014-5/23/2015 (WSET School, Bermondsey): Appearance: The wine is Clear with a Medium ruby colour.
Nose: The nose is Clean and Developing, showing Pronounced intensity primary aromas of red cherry, red plum, fig, secondary aromas of vanilla, sweet spice, smoke and tertiary aromas of Leather, truffle.
Palate: The wine is Dry in the mouth with a High level of acidity. It has High chalky tannins and a High Level of alcohol (14.00%). It has Medium(+) body and Medium(+) intensity primary flavours of red cherry, red plum, fig, secondary flavours of vanilla, sweet spices, smoke and tertiary flavours of Leather, truffle. The finish is Long Ripe fruit, chalky tannins not well integrated
Overall: Good complexity, intensity and length. Tannins not that well integrated
Conclusion: It is a Very Good quality wine. Can Drink Now but has Potential for Ageing Needs some further ageing for tannins to soften and intergrate.
