this is for 6 bottle in total containing - 2 bottles of Penfolds RWT 2005 and 2 bottles of Penfolds Magill Estate 2006 and more for packing reasons (although very good in their own right!!) 2 bottles Koonunga Hill Shiraz Cabernet 2010.

if you know your Penfolds you will know how great these are as vintages but also as styles but some details are....

Penfolds Magill Estate 2006….
the year that won a silver medal in the international wine challenge - Dark ruby, clean, with smoky violets and dark fruits on the nose. Nicely wooded, with spice and fair acidity but some fruitiness. ICW

Magill Estate Shiraz is a very important Penfolds single-vineyard wine. It is classed of great symbolic importance because it is the only wine grown and made from the remaining original vineyard in the original Penfolds winery at Magill. First made in 1983, Penfolds Magill Estate Shiraz is an elegant, medium-weight style with velvety texture and fine tannins, matured in both new French and American oak. It is a sleek, contemporary wine, yet crafted in the old-fashioned way, hand-picked, vinified in open fermenters and then basket pressed.

2006 is one of the highest scoring Magill years released...

Good red-purple; fragrant aromas of black cherry, plum and blackberry; utterly delicious mouthfeel and seductive fruit; will live, but extreme patience not needed.

"Rich, ripe and focused, with a lovely purity to the blackberry, dark plum and sweet spice flavors, playing against bittersweet chocolate notes on the long, expressive finish. Best from 2010 through 2020. 1,500 cases imported. - HS"

and finally even the 2 bottles Koonunga Hill Shiraz Cabernet 2010.

these are great bottle themselves - sad to call them packing as they score a 87 points from the Wine Spectator even.

Aromas of fresh pudding mixture & mixed red berries with cedary, seasoned oak.

The palate reflects the nose, with deeper plum and red-fruits, the chocolate like finish is Koonunga Hill through and through, finishing with fine grained tannins.
