Description

For sale is a highly desirable 1.5L Magnum of the wonderful St Henri from Penfolds.

Tasting Notes:

A substantial wine in all respects, with more richness and mouthfeel than many of the 1980s and ’90s; the array of black fruits with a twist of cassis is perfectly balanced, as is the oak and tannin support. 94/100 (11-Mar-2009) [James Halliday).

Penfolds 'Rewards of Patience' suggests that the peak period for this wine is 2015 to 2030. It would therefore make a superb 10th Anniversary present in 2015.

Penfolds Magnums are difficult to get hold of and this one is priced to sell. The bottle was bought by me at the time of release and has been correctly stored at 12 degrees ever since - it is in perfect condition.

Postage is £15.00 by Parcelforce 48, which is tracked. The magnum will be sent in a strong wooden box to protect it in transit.
