In the hearts & minds of true Australian Shiraz lovers, Penfolds St Henri holds a special place. Matured for 12 months in 50+ year old oak vats, St Henri has a track record for cellaring that is the envy of most other wineries. It has an elegant & pure tannin structure that sets it apart from the rest of the Penfolds red wine range, but along with this structure comes velvet texture, opulence & generosity. A classic vintage in south Australia, the 2006 St Henri will prove to be a favourite well past 2025.

The 2006 Shiraz St Henri, has a strong purple-crimson colour, along with the focus, intensity & class expected of the 06 vintage. Blackberry, blackcurrant & savoury spices are supported & complexed by firm ripe tannins on the medium to full-bodied, long lasting palate.
