Château Pétrus requires little introduction given its prestige and standing among the world s most sought-after wines. However, provenance is unknown and no guarantees are offered with this bottle.

Bidders are taking a calculated gamble on a 1979 Pétrus showing a mid-shoulder fill level and colour that has clearly evolved with age. Label intact with marks as shown; cork feels firm.

This is the last bottle from the parcel in my possession. I opened another bottle from the same case with lower fill level approximately a couple of months ago and was not disappointed.
