Description

This bottle of Pommery’s Prestige ‘Cuvée Louise‘ 2004 is one of the bottles from my modest champagne collection that I’m listing here to free up space for new purchases.

Champagne Pommery`s prestige cuvée was first produced in 1979 as a tribute to Madame Pommery`s personality and vision. Under her leadership, Pommery launched the world’s first brut Champagne – the dry Champagne we know today. The 2004 vintage is a blend of 65% Chardonnay and 35% Pinot Noir, sourced from 3 Grand Cru villages. Avize, Aÿ and Cramant Very complex in style, revealing notes of red apples, grapefruit, brioche, nougat and almonds, with zesty flavours emerging on the finish. If you can still find the 2004, it sells for around £200.

The bottle is official UK stock and has been stored in the cool and dark by me, a member of the wine trade.

The bottle will be well packed for safe shipping.
