Antinori continually experiments with their vineyards and cellars, with selections of native and international clones, growing methods, vineyard altitudes, fermentation methods and temperatures, traditional and modern vinification techniques, types of wood, size and age of barrels, and various bottle-aging periods.It produces a single wine classified as Chianti Classico Gran Selezione. The Pèppoli vineyard is located five kilometers (three miles) to the northeast of Tignanello and has 50 hectares (124 acres) of vines.
