Description

An unusual older bottling of Quinta do Noval LB Port, produced by one of the most historic and prestigious Port houses in Portugal's Douro Valley.
This is an interesting discontinued Noval presentation, with the distinctive moulded NOVAL bottle, screen-printed front lettering and original Portuguese guarantee strip still present. The rear label describes the wine as a “classic vintage character port; full bodied and fruity”, intended to be enjoyed directly from the bottle without the need for decanting.
Quinta do Noval is one of the great names of Port, with its historic estate in the Douro and a history stretching back to the early 18th century. Older proprietary bottlings such as this are increasingly uncommon and make particularly interesting additions to a collection of historic Port.
