ABOUT THE WINE

Founded in 2000 by Michael Twelftree and Richard Mintaz, the Barossa-based Two Hands winery has become an iconic Australian negociante-producer, famed for their hands-on approach to every part of the winemaking process and their commitment to single-vineyard expressions of Australia's top winegrowing regions.

TASTING NOTES

A real blockbuster, complex and concentrated, from a single-vineyard. Smoke, toasty oak, pencil lead, violets, liquorice, blueberry and cassis, with a superbly elegant texture, perfect balance and a very long finish. A hedonistic delight, with the potential to age until 2030.

FOOD PAIRING

Robust enough for the most flavourful barbecue, a shoulder of lamb, perhaps;
