Riesling Auslese - Brauneberger Juffer (Mosel) - GOLDKAPSEL - "Erste Lage - Premier Cru" - 2010 - Brauneberger Hof - Gold Capsule

An excellent dessert wine which is sure to live up to its name. Smells of ripe pears and mango, minerally - spicy on the palate, elegant - sustained sweetness, well structured and balanced with integrated fruit acidity.

The 2010 Brauneberger Juffer Auslese is voted from the Gault Millau as on of the best with 89 points.

This wine is from the "Erste Lage - Premier Cru" wineyard Brauneberger Juffer. The steep slope opposite Brauneberg is called Juffer (virgin), it is known to give with its minerally character some of the best Riesling wines.

The Brauneberger Hof (since 1558) by Martin Conrad is one of the best winemakers in the Middle Mosel Vineyards, famous for long-lasting absolutly high quality wines.

"Goldkapsel" (Gold Capsule) is the stamp given to the best wines of the best german winemakers.
